  The "Petrified" Client
All about the business of advertising.

The Client "Petrified" in fear to do stand out creative is taking the biggest risk of his or her life.
The great George Lois said, "There is no gain, without risk." I lived my whole career with this belief. You have to do outstanding creative that breaks out from the masses. Is unique. Is different. Sells hard. You can't afford to risk your business on doing work like everyone else. It won't be seen or noticed and you will have wasted a tremendous amount of money. I've worked with many "Petrified" Clients. Truthfully, it's easier to do "safe" creative. People won't get offended. People won't call and complain. And people won't remember it. I dare you to demand great, award winning creative that stands out and takes a risk. You will find that work to be the "safest" work you can do to beat your competition.
