Nobody is telling you what works in marketing and what doesn't.
You get a list of marketing things to do. That's it. How nuts. Nobody is telling you what works in marketing and what doesn't.
You get a list of marketing things to do. That's it. How nuts.
Because they all are not equal to drumming up business for you.
Here is what I know works on a low budget.
1. A client of yours saying or showing your work in their article.
2. Direct Mail with a reply card that showcases your work and asks for services that the client might need. The reply card
needs to be used as a follow-up tool. They must go together.
3. A great identity package for you that is so unique,
another business can't claim it with their name replacing.
yours. The value of a great logo is a lifelong investment.
4. Billboards on Trucks. If the identity is simple and has impact.
5. Billboards on highways. If the billboard is seen easily and for a long distance. If the message is short and creative with a
powerful selling message.
6. Radio if it is a simple, powerful jingle that sells your business.
Size of the listeners on your stations is critical.
7. TV the same. Radio and TV has to be a very smart demographic buy too and the timing is critical. Size of audience.
8. Ad campaign same remarks above. Simple and Impactful.
Selling a unique marketing idea. Media buy is critical. Timing
is critical. Circulation is critical.
Be careful expecting to find a yellow brick road when it comes to your marketing efforts. Ask the advice of the best in every area
you are interested in. And ask many questions. Then go with
your gut and go for it!
